Handshake is ok.. and agree with the other comment - physical touch - even ever so softly is a huge green flag that she's at least open to the possibility of you.

Fist pump = that's a big hell no.

Handshakes are a fantastic idea because they are open and straightforward, and are a great way to gauge interest in physical contact. Fist bumps are not as great, because they don't last very long, are usually very casual, and aren't something men usually give women. Generally, an open palm signifies personal openness and trustworthiness, while a closed palm signifies emotional distance and barriers, so touching each other with open palms sets a much more positive expectation than touching with closed fists. Both, however, are better than nothing.
