As a woman, when I flirt with men it looks like this : I pay attention to you by going out of my way to talk to you in a pleasant way. Either that's saying a semi funny / joke remark or giving a compliment - " nice hat!". It's also things like looking happy and smiling when saying hi.

More obvious flirting is something I did recently was wearing a low cut shirt that showed off my cleavage while out at a bar in a 1:1 setting, and then after a couple drinks I said " do you want to go back to my place?" ( And he said yes).

Just the other day a colleague of mine talking about shopping and asked me to take her after work.

I was like “gosh I never understand women going shopping all the time” and she goes “noo… today I just want to buy fruits. I love fruits!”

I kinda sense that she’s onto something and I’m like “lemme guess, you like bananas don’t you?” And she starts laughing and her face blushed and says “yeah, but I only like the big ones..” I act surprised and have my jaw dropped. I move closer to her and whispers back “I got bananas at home…” she can’t look at me in the eyes then she says “ok how about this, take me shopping then we go to your house. Deal?” The rest is history.

I would say that generally they want to spend more time with you, get closer, pay attention what you say, speak up, get some action going around you or with you. Afraid of being directly rejected, they often use these subtle clues of friendliness, encouraging your to figure it out and escalate. From man's logical point of view you may assume this is just some nice and energetic attitude, but you should also take into account that women may be clueless or very shy about projecting their feelings properly. Therefore, instead of figuring out sign code that may make no sense from logical point, you should gradually make your escalating moves. If she lets you get to her, you can be sure that she liked you, no reason to waste time. Embrace promising odds and take initiative.
