I was filling my drink up at a local food establishment when to girls (2 hb7's roughly) walk up to fill there drinks. I turn to the one a just say "you look really familiar, do I know you?"; she looked confused for a second, but then replied "no, I dont think so, where would I know you from?".

I continue to asked if she went to school in the area, and maybe id seen her at a party. After a few exchanges i finally decided I didnt know her after all, but it was nice meeting her anyway and exchanged names.

I just left after that, didnt try and pursue, considering it was just spur of the moment.

Anyway the conclusion is, I think this could have potential as a good opener for random girls. If it sounds natural and genuine than that automatically gives you a few random things to talk about, and opens up questions about school, friends, or whatever. You could even say, "are you that new girl that works over at such and such.
