I'm a girl. Here goes:

I see a cute guy in the waiting area for our flight. Our eyes met and I sort of smiled. Just a little. I didn't really think that much about it, but then he was seated in the row in front of me. He is seated on the aisle and I'm by the window. There are only two seats in the row.

The seat next to me is filled with this old weird old guy who watched a personal DVD player but without headphones! Who thinks that's okay? Anyway...cute guy (CG) can't sit next to me because of weird old guy, but there is no one sitting in the window seat next to CG.

I catch him a couple of times glancing around and checking me out. I feel pretty good. Then one time he does it I smile, like a real big smile. And he smiles back.

Then later he moves over to the window seat (so he's sitting next to me) and he starts looking out the window. He makes the first move and starts talking. He points out things below us (islands, rivers, etc). We chat off and on during the whole flight. We have a lot in common (same major, similar taste in books). Big thing b/c this is an international flight: We are both going to the same country: different cities, but the same country (about eight hours apart) and we both live there.

By the end of the flight my stomach is in knots! I'm trying to think of a plausible reason for us to hang out before we go to our connecting flights. Then I find one: my cell phone is dead and I don't have a charger. I need it to call my hotel when I arrive. So I ask if he has the same cell phone as me (a long shot). He does and his charger is in his bag.

We get in separate lines during the security check. I really wanted to follow him, but decided to play it a little cool. His line is WAAAY faster than mine, and he disappears into the terminal. I think that's it. How will we find each other? I don't know his connecting flight number and he doesn't know mine.

But then he is waiting at my gate (he knew the city and must have taken a guess). I charge my phone. We chat, exchange names. Then he has to go to make his plane.

AND NOTHING! He doesn't ask for my email or number. WHY? WHY????? Why didn't I ask him? As he's walking away he said, 'I wish I had something' but he doesn't finish the thought. What did he wish he had?

I say thanks for the charger and good luck in the future. And that's it. AAAAAAAAA!

Seddit: what should I have to done to make it easier for him to ask my number/email? As a female sedditor my goal is not to seduce men to to make it easy for them to seduce me (which is how women seduce men). So what line could I have used? Would it have been a turn off to just ask for his email?
