Since I feel in a Shakespearean mood, I'm going to write this FR in acts. Interesting part happens in Act 3 :P

Prologue

Act One

HB 7 had previously cancelled plans but offered to reschedule right away, which is the minimum I ask to keep my attention. However, we had made plans to get coffee after all our classes, so it would be a bit more relaxed... That did not happen, instead I get a text in class asking to do the date in between classes. (Initially I thought she wanted me to skip a class we share and do the date, and I am unwilling to do that, as the course is fucking HARD). This meant I had only 30 minutes, instead of the hour or hour and a half I wanted! I agreed as long as I don't miss that class; and started to lose state fast. Because it wasn't according to plan. This meant the date was going to happen in about 20-30 minutes... and that got me nervous as fuck!

Anyways, I asked her to meet at the coffee shop, to which she agreed (that didn't happen). Instead, as our lecture ended, my wingman noticed that she stood up and began searching for me. Me and my wingman, and our usual group exited the lecture hall; she had followed and came jogging up to me, grabbed my arm and started talking. This left my group in utter disbelief! Within this group is a girl who is mutual friends with her a guy HB 7 has friendzoned (maybe?), and this girl knows that the friendzoned guy really likes her (more on this later, he's gonna come up as a third wheel later... yeah...).

Act Two

As we are walking to coffee show, I notice her kinoing my arm. And I wanted to kino back, but I lost state so fast. I had to cram an hour and half date into 30 minutes. This meant, I had to transition to going to an art gallery sooner than expected (were they even open, etc). As we reach the coffee shop, I learned so much things about her. She lives like 5 minutes to me by car (so summer plans for sure). And that she's going on vacation after exams.

We get to the coffee shop and I notice that we have consumed about 10-15 minutes in our date. So we keep talking, eventually, I manage to mention the art gallery on campus. Which she knows... so now it's back up plans. The back up is a secret area that has work from Master's students on display (it's not open to the public and not many people know about it). So I mention this, to which she asks "how do I know this", "because I'm the adventurous type" smirk, And lead her along (I forgot to touch her lower back to lead her, but I was in damage control mode and not at all relaxed).

Act Three

As we are leaving the coffee shop (now half way though this 30 minute date), we run into her "boyfriend". Except, he wasn't, as they didn't do anything couple related (kissing or hugs, etc). (If anything, he's more of a friendzoned guy, he was VERY shy and soft spoken). Anyways, she stops to talk to him and invites him to go check out this secret spot! All I could think of was, FUCK NOW I HAVE A THIRD WHEEL?!?!?! Okay, forcing myself to calm down and not break down. I concur to her invitation and lead them along. I notice that he is time crunched, as he wants to hand something in, so he is somewhat annoyed. And bam, I come up with an awesome move. I pretend to get lost... and after one minute, he says that he's gotta leave! FUCK YEAH. So he does, and I continue to lead her.

Act Four

Now we're at my secret area. And she's just loving this. There's an amazing display (it changed from the last time I was there). So I linger near her and then move on to the next exhibit. She catches up, we talk for a bit. She learns that I'm the artsie type and love art! This goes on for about five minutes. Date now has gone (20-25 minutes). I get some intimate time with her (finally) but it felt really forced (for me anyways, given the sudden change and the third wheel that could've ruined this date). By the time I started to relax, it was time to go...

Act Five

Now we're walking to our next class. And we're talking about a lot of things (none of which I can remember) but I loved it. But I was more relaxed now! We near our building and run into a couple of mutual friends... And they didn't understand that I was on a date with her, so they hung around and wasted the last five minutes. I decided that this date was just crashing (in my opinion), that I just didn't care... So I just went with it. At this stage, I wanted to secure a day two, but I couldn't, given the two other guys there; who now started to bust my chops... We go into class and I'm glad it's over!

Epilogue

After class I'm de-briefing with my wingman about this, and he said I worked it well. Given how it went from bad to worse, he said that I pulled it off. He was impressed and amazed! And he was pretty sure all of this blew her mind. He was amazed at the third wheel coming in and we discussed him.

My wingman later would say that friendzone might have feelings for her and that friendzone guy has confessed them to another mutual friend, the same girl in our social group (see Act One). In this confession he said "He doesn't know what moving back means for him and HB 7". My wingman later said that he doubts that friendzone guy and HB 7 have dated, maybe fooled around but even that's unlikely. According to him, friendzone guy hasn't made moves to get her and now she's looking elsewhere.

All in all, a really fucked up experience. I didn't really have too much fun, but I managed it well, I think. But apparently it went amazing for her, as I got a text from her:

HB 7: Thanks for the moka!

me: Lol well you did win it! We need to do more bets, where I win :)

HB 7: Lol

Me: Lol we should hang after your crazy fun trips :P When are you gonna be back?

HB 7: Early June! And we should meet up for suuure

Me: For sure!!! Text/call me when you're back in town and we'll work something out :)

HB 7: Sounds good

tl;dr

Had a coffee date with a class mate. Half way through this date, she invited her friendzoned guy along. I managed to lose him and continue with this date. Made some mistakes due to the third wheel, as I got out of state so fast... Ended on a high note!
