I just got back from approaching the cute girl sitting across from me. She's with a guy friend. I went for it when the guy friend left to go to the comfort room. I told her, "I've been wanting to talk to you since I walked in but I didn't want to interrupt you and your friend talking." Then I just asked for her name and did a bit of small talk then finally struggled to say I wanted to take her out for coffee some time.

My voice was so weak and non-commanding. I got rejected but the girl was at least smiling most of the time I was talking with her. She said she was already taken. We talked for maybe 3 minutes tops. I feel nervous as all hell, still.

Okay, she just left with her friend, and she approached me to ask for my name. I said my name and shook her hand. She just wanted to say it was nice meeting me after all that. Fuck, her last sentence was "I'll see you soon." But I didn't even get up to say something. I figure now I should have at least asked if she'll be around here any time again in the future.

Wow. It didn't go quite as well as I wanted it to, but at least I didn't crash and burn... I'll be reading up more on day game in order to brush up. Just wanted to share this experience with you guys.

P.S. I feel good. :)
