So I'm on a fishing trip with some coworkers. We're staying at this lodge, and this morning we all went for breakfast. The girl who was serving us was a major QT (9/10 for sure), and had an awesome smile.

So later after breakfast I go back down to breakfast hall, and it's pretty empty with only one elderly company eating. There she was, busting a table. I kept talking myself out of it, but then remembered from this subreddit, that it's better to go in and get rejected rather than guessing what could have been.

I went in, nervous as could be, but trying I stay mentally confident.

I say "Sarah right? Ha, I only know because the people in the kitchen kept screaming it!"

She was well receptive and confirmed. I continued saying it was pretty cool that they had fun while working and such. While not getting caught up in the details too much, I said, "You probably need to get back to work." After she said she really should, I said "Well maybe you can text me sometime?" Smiled an handed her my phone with the add contact page. She smiled and blushed saying "hmhmhm:) I have a boyfriend though..."

So that was that, no number, but I'm just impressed I actually worked up the courage to do that in someone working. I was shaking like a leaf! But after that first time, I feel like I've broken the barrier into a future of easier approaches!
