Hey there gents, was just chilling at home from another rough day at work and decieded to hop back on this account again. First, i've been super busy with work and other BS so no real time/motivation to go out. But...it's blue balls (cuffing) season so I'm back at it again with the white vans.

Short FR as usual but this is important I think for guys learning to respect themselves. I've read this here numerous times and heard it from friends and family but it's the truth. If you can't respect yourself how can you expect others to respect you?

I went out to Nottinghams in Columbia, MD with some friends for some drinks and dancing. A couple of girls came but one of them was married and the other was not attractive at all. At least not to me, she was friendly to talk to though. After about an hour of some decently heavy drinking my friend and I noticed a girl that was playing pool in the back with her friends. I've gotten really good at screening somehow and can do it in about 2 minutes. Things like, "is she married?" , "Does she have a BF?" , "Does she have a GF?" stuff like that go through my head super fast now so if nothing else I am gaining that skill. Anyway after screening for a moment I came to the conclusion that she was single, and at the worst she was there with her FWB.

She was rather cute, a 6.5 body wise and a 6 face. She was dressed pretty sexy with a lowcut skin tight dress thing on it was kind of hot. Once I decided to talk to her she was already walking in my direction. Not to talk to me but to go outside, I took this oppurtunity to just look into her eyes to grab her attention and said "Hey, 'scuse me. Out of curiosity is that your BF over there?"

Here's where is all went downhill...

She replied "No, those are just frienshhh" (not a typo)

I simply said "Oh" thinking to myself that this chick was really drunk. I gave her another chance and decided to roll the dice and flat out tell her she was cute. Maybe she had a weird lisp or something. Baltimore girls tend to be weird so I gave it a shot.

She says "Thanks!! You're really cute too" she made a motion to put her hand up to my face but in doing so, hit me in the cheek. I grabbed her hand and said "um, what?" She says "Oh sorry, been drinking."

Thought to myself, well a few things wrong here already and on top of that i got hit, accidentally or not. I quickly said to myself, "nah not worth it" and told her to have a goodnight. Then I went back to my seat with my friends. I really draw the line at getting hit, accidentally or not. And if she was drunk enough to slap me on accident then she isn't worth my time.

Here is the weird part...

After sitting back with my friends I let the situation go and just counted it as a rejection. Not TWO minutes later this girl comes BACK to me and says "hey can we talk more? I think you're really cute, we should talk!" I just replied "no, thanks, have fun with your friends though!" We smiled at each other and went on our way.

I felt pretty good about myself and learned that sometimes it's better to walk away and try for something better.
