Shame on me for writing this one out so late.

It was Karaoke Night at the Golden Rail. Also, Halloween was the next night.

I had come in wearing my superman costume. I walked in with less anxiety than usual... Some other girls walked in wearing costumes. There were a couple cute ones in the group. I decided to approach, everyone... Fuck it. I go up to her with, "So, what are you supposed to be?"

My next statement would be a guess. Chicks that dressed as jail burgs and referees, I would call them BeetleJuice. I would make up little light jokes about their costume when I approached and it worked. Really, any opener I had about their costume worked.

And I am now trying actively to be able to goto the bar, pick out the hot girl that I want, and have a good chance with sleeping with her within the next 30-60 minutes... Kissing them within the first 5 minutes even...

I would open girls with getting their attention in some way whether it's a tap on the shoulder. Then my opener was usually, "Hello, my name is, Alexander. What is yours?" In the most chill way I could imagine, expecting them to reflect some high energy.

She would normally respond with her name, and shaking my hand. I am actively trying a different form of strategy. I'm trying to slow down, and go with the flow, flirt with girls, and fuck the shit out of them...

So I would take their hand, kiss it as sexy as I can. And I say, "It is a pleasure to meet you."

It wouldn't go anywhere really. So all night I tried to just talk to women and get comfortable "just talking" to women... Clearly, there's something fucking wrong with me if I can't... So I'm just bullshitting, saying whatever, just giving value, trying to have fun, and enjoy whatever is in front of me...

I sang some of my favorite songs, approached all the girls, gained mad social proof... All the dudes loved me again, and I again ruled the bar. I got some mad IOIs from this super fine bitty... Mmm, god damn! HB9-10

She kept giving me IOIs, and I tried speaking to her, and it didn't really go anywhere... It felt like the attraction was dying.

I tried getting her to dance with me. One time I put out my hand for her to grab, she took it but nothing really surfaced. We danced, nothing crazy, kinda like seprated, and then she'd go back to where she was.

Her IOIs were like, watching me when I wasn't watching her, as all the dudes were telling me.

One time she turned around and looked right at me to see if I was looking at her, when I was just chilling and looking straight forward, and my buddy kept telling me that she was checking me out.

I tried just talking to her, but nothing was really flowing. She would sorta, flutter away back to her friends or something if I stayed in their too long.

Nothing was really working for me, but I also didn't really receive any nasty looks this time.

The night ended, and I expected nothing to come of it. W/e...

My PUA buddy told me that I should've been more aggressive like telling her she's sexy and getting to the point quicker, that not everyone is gonna wanna just dance and hook up. Hearing that, I realized that I definitely wasn't aggressive enough on that end. It was almost like I was waiting for her to give me approval.
