Saturday I went out of town with 3 of my friends to visit an old acquaintance. We drove for 3 hours and got a hotel when we arrived. We all went out downtown and got drunk from drinking Hennessy all night. It was around 1:30 am and the night out was coming to an end. My friend Clyde was looking for some weed and like a good friend I deiced to help. I looked over to my right to see an 8/10 twerking with about 3 or 4 girls watching her.

A couple of minutes after she finished dancing I walked over and I was like "can I ask you a question?" "do you where I can find some trees (weed)?" She says no, but we started a light conversation. She told me that she thought I was handsome and I said thank you then I told her "you're fine as fuck, but you're definitely out of my league." She went on to tell me she was lesbian anyways. After that, she told me that had come to the club with her sister. While we were talking my friend Clyde walked up and I end up walking away because I assumed he was going to ask if they knew where to get some weed was at.

I walked back over to my other friends Mike and Tyshaun. Mike asked "did you get her number?" I said "nah, she's lesbian" and he was like bro what the fuck you still could have got her number. Clyde joined us and was like what the fuck you should have got her number. He started a nonsensical rant about how it doesn't matter if she's lesbian because women still like to get penetrated and blah blah. We must have got rowdy because a security guard ended up walking over and making sure we were all good. Clyde ended up talking to the security guard and was like "nothing is going on this dumbass right here could have got a bad bitch's number" even the security guard shook his head at me and was like "come on bruh." Not too long after that, they were kicking everyone out of the club, because it was closing time. We walked to my car and headed back to our hotel room.

Sunday night after we all had got home, recovered from our hangovers and decompressed, Mike, Tyshaun and I got online to play Apex Legends. We were in our online party reflecting about the previous night and my situation came up again. While we were talking about what happened Mike said "you should have seen how her body language changed and her face lit up when you started talking to her" from his perspective it looked like I had an easy number close and I just walked away from it. They both told me again that I should have at least asked for her number.

I'm sure some of you are looking for the point of this post and the main lesson you should take away from this is that you should always be closing. You never know what could come from an interaction. I could have made a new friend that had obviously had more attractive friends. I don't think I could have turned her straight, but there was a possibility that something could have happened since she thought I was attractive.

If you're going to club or bar only to game/approach women then you're doing it all wrong. You should be open to all possibilities and think of positives outcomes whether it's a guy or girl you're talking to. Making more friends or having people think you're awesome is never a bad thing. You never know when you could be making a meaningful connection with someone that will improve or add value to your life.
