So the first "approach" was after class and I'm walking down the stairs with my friend talking and the girl in my class is walking by and I bring her into the conversation and she starts opening up and being really attune to the conversation. Then we go to the bus stop and I assume she's getting on so I get on but she keeps walking so I'm like fuck. Later on I go to lunch and see she's leaving the dining court and I walk over to her and get her attention and tell her sorry I thought she was getting on the bus but jokingly. She's with her friend and I ask her one question but then realize they're trying to leave and I'm like, oh you're trying to leave, but hey you should give me your number and I said we should "hang out" sometime. ( I know I should've made it clear it was a date) she said ok and I jokingly said you can put my number in your calculator and she did but I fucked the number up and long story short she never texted me, but I saw her with a different in a dining court later, gave her eye contact and then just went about my day.

Second "approach" I walks up to a girl with her headphones in at a table and asked if I could sit with her and she smiles deeply and said she was waiting for a friend so I was just like thanks anyways bla bla and left.

Third, I'm in a fancy Mariot building and there's a big fancy gathering with food and I see a girl sitting close by doing her homework but she has a dress on. I get the courage to go up and ask her enthusiastically if she knows what's going on there and she should try to sneak in and get some food for me and she's she laughs a little but says she's studying for her final. I get a little afraid of an awakes silence I think and say I'll come back and like expect her to get me food. I assumed she was busy studying for a final and I should let her be.

First question, should I be comfortable taking up these girls time when they actually have something to do?

Did I push for the number too hard with the girl in the dining court with her friend?

Should I have pushed through with the girl that was waiting for her friend and talked?

My questions are basically all revolve around the same theme
