I work as a server at a bar and grill with a patio. Im working on my anxiety and just getting numbers.

Two cute girls walk into the restaurant. Im standing at the hostess till and instantly start making so lid eye contact with one of them, well call her S. I make a quick joke about something and have them get seated by the host. He returns from seating them outside and says that they are my table. The host and I shake up and I go out to greet them. I approach with " uh oh I they told me you girls are trouble makers". They giggle and smile. I do a standard intro and make small talk about them sitti by outside.

Im being charming and witty, I dont have as big as a problem with this at work idk why but I cant ask for numbers at work so my goal was to get S to leave hers or have her ask for mine.

So I keep a steady supply of flirting going during the evening. I tell them a little about myself. They reciprocate.

Things start wrapping up. They tipped really well and I go to say bye and I made a point to ask for S's name and hold her hand when shaking a few seconds longer than normal and maintain strong eye contact. Shes super into it. I introduce myself to her friend and say I hope to see them again soon.

They leave. S leaves her number. She responsive to texts and seems like gf material. Ill have no problems hanging out with her. Im confident ill be able to escalate with her and start seeing her steadily.

Tips for dates appreciated. Im having trouble avoiding lunch/dinner/coffee stuff.
