If you're like me, lurking out there, you've probably read all the posts and thought to yourself, "does this shit even work?" I was skeptical. Let me preface this with I'm an outgoing guy, but had huge approach anxiety. If there were women my friends knew, I'd have no problems talking to them, but a cold approach, hell no!

I've been reading all the guides and just finished The Game. I've realized, with much prodding from you all out there that life is really what you make it. Don't give a fuck. The best time, is now.

Today, I put this into action. Met up with my buddy at coffee shop before our motorcycle ride. Saw a cute girl in the corner as I walked in, and we made eye contact. Usually, I'd look away, but I've been practicing holding that eye contact and adding in a little smirk. I see a little smile out of the corner of her mouth. I order something, and meet my friend outside. We finish our drinks. I reenter the coffee shop. There are fucking tables and chairs with people every-fucking-where. I snake my way through the maze, walk to to her as she's putting in her head phones. I was going to ask her, "hey, do you know what year is? i don't actually care, I just thought you were cute and wanted to say hi." What I actually said, was, "Hi". She looked back, smiled, and returned the greeting.

I told her that my friend was outside waiting, so I couldn't stay long. Fluffed for 5 mins or so, she was laughing the whole time. Told her I had to get going, and offered the table we had outside. She accepted and asked if she should just follow me. I told her as long as she wasn't being creepy about it, yes.

We get outside, I tell her to enjoy the view and tell her we should meet for coffee sometime. She says that would be great. I ask her how we can make that happen. She asks if I have her number. I give her my phone, she punches it in. Say goodbye, my buddy nods in approval, and we ride off into the sunset.

The take away? JUST DO IT. It doesn't matter how much you've read, or think you know, none of it matters!. FUCKING SAY HI IF YOU HAVE NOTHING ELSE TO SAY. I texted her something funny afterwards, and told her we should meet this week. No reply. The best part? I don't fucking care! I'm still flying high from the entire interaction.
