It's been about 12 years since I was last practising seduction (I'm now 34yo, not bad looking but balding, which I try to handle with a buzzcut!). There's been some changes (the MeToo movement, dating apps), but generally the rules seem to be the same as back in 2010. Anyroad, alongside generally getting my life's shit together (better job, eating well, exercise etc), I figured I'd try daygame again. I headed to the local mall. It's Monday late afternoon; not too busy, but busy enough. I'm not looking for any form of close at this point - only to build up confidence talking to women outside my social circle.

I first approached a woman eyeing some phone cases. I asked her opinion on whether crystal-covered cases would be too flashy for a female relative whose birthday was coming up. After a brief bit of banter ("Whoa, so crystals really are an all round female thing? Get outta here...tell me more..."), I found the sales assistant behind the counter wanted to offer their opinion, so I calmly continued the conversation with them and then ejected. Not terrible, but not great.

Next, I approached a bored smoothie saleswoman. I tried a direct approach on her: "Excuse me, I'm meeting a friend in a few minutes but I just wanted to say you look really cute and I thought I'd pop over and say hi". She received it well; I introduced myself and we talked about where she was from, how business was going, and some holiday plans she had. Since she was stood behind the counter, I couldn't use kino to escalate and sensed the conversation wasn't going anywhere. So, after about a couple mins, I ejected with 'pleasure meeting you'. Not bad.

I then approached a couple of women in a book store. They were in the kid's section, apparently looking for a gift for a younger friend. I asked them for an opinion on what a girl of 7 might like "as you girls seem to know what you're doing here; I'm a bit lost!". I'm actually quite hot on reading, and we quickly started chatting about authors, literature and all sorts. Managed to generally keep it cocky/funny with both of them ("Fifty Shades of Grey? Jeez, that's a bit strong for this innocent guy in front of you-I know what you're thinking, babe!") but decided to eject after a few mins.

I did approach another couple of girls to ask for directions, but didn't feel that this counted because I couldn't move the conversation onto anything else.

Anyway, thought I'd throw this one out there - if anyone has any feedback/tips, or wants any further details, then comments are welcome. Thanks.
