Havent had too much success lately even with all the practice I have been doing, but think I have finaly worked out what I was doing wrong which was my body language being poor (voice, stance and eye contact), confidence being lower than I thought it was (learn to power pose!!!! and get pumped), and trying out way to many new things before I got the hang of the basics.

Now on to the FR.

I went too uni today with the intention of doing another day of practice after realizing what I had been doing wrong, along with a lecture and too study. On the way I was pumping myself up in the car, making sure I was relaxed, singing along randomly too songs, then walking from the car park made sure I made very dominant eye contact with every HB there was(found that doing this pumped me up quite abit), but one thing that I tried in the lecture had a massive effect IMO. I did power posing for the whole 1.5 hours in the lecture by leaning back, legs outstretched and just chilled the whole way through (anyone struggling with confidence watch the video put up recently on it). After getting out of the lecture I quickly realized how empty the place is on a friday arvo, there were so few people. There were a few girls near the cafe's with friends or very close too others, but im still not up to being that confident yet so I didnt approach. While I was walking around I saw a HB6.5-7 walking into the admin but I knew she would be talking too someone in there so oh well. Anyway fast forward 10 min still walking around, I saw the same HB and started.

As soon as I saw her made eye contact, held eye contact on the whole approach, kept my body language up and opened in a deep, calm voice and held these through the whole interaction. Me (opener): Hey!....(walking over) I just wanted too say you look incredibly cute.

Her: Awww thanks! (smiling, instantly faced me, big eyes, good IOI's)

Me: Oh yeh, Im **** and you are?

Her: Im *****. (handshake)

Then it went into general convo for half a minute but I quickly built rapport of were shes from, staying, interests ect.

As the conversation started too die down I payed attention to her body language, she was still happy but had quitened abit, crossed her arms lightly and I was running out of things too state/ask ect so decided too close rather than draw it out.

Me: "look its been really great too meet you and talk too you, is there anyway we could meet up again?"

I kinda messed up abit here, as I then asked for her number as she pulled her phone out/about to answer.

As we exchanged numbers I kept up some funny small talk and minor kino (I have very large thumbs, very good excuse to compare hand sizes when make a joke about using a smart phone keypad with them. I press +5 keys at once!)

Now for some lessons learned/tips.

  1. work very occasional compliments in, I used this when I found she was on exchange "I guess you could afford that being a model", seems abit cheesy but using it in the smooth, honest way I did seemed to work quite well.

  2. SLOW THE FUCK DOWN! Practise making sure you slow down how quickly you speak, you pronounce things alot better, have much more control over what you say, and makes you seem more/confident.

  3. Compliance: One I used too day was taking and obvious step closer, not a large one but closed the gap from 70cm too 30cm, you are well in her personal space at this distance so if she doesnt move she is happy for you too be there.

  4. Run out of things too say? stare at her: Its good to do this early on as it lets her know she needs to have input, and is incredibly effective. By staring I mean keep up the eye contact with intent after youev finished and within about 3-7 seconds she will usualy start talking.

Too finish up, shes been texting me mainly so iev followed normal texting rules too only reply with short txt's at long random intervals, and will text her tomorrow mid day about a plan for sunday right now =).

UPDATE: Hopefully you have read my latest post on what to do if they dont text back, and seen the result I got. Anyway not an hour ago I got a txt saying "im so sorry but I dont think I can make it today I have to much work. Raincheck?", so not all bad news as she is showing interest by asking for the raincheck. To this i replied following the text game guide by saying "sure, ill text you later this week with some ideas". Hopefully it goes well but so far fairly good =).
