I've recently been paying more attention to my 'game' after reading some of the material here and when I was invited out to a club last night I thought I'd observe others more and try some new strategies. I'll try and keep it brief, it might come out a little verbose because I have to tell the story...if you have any feedback I'd appreciate it.

Back story is that my friend (afc, wing) was invited out by this girl he met at a club a couple of weeks ago. Turns out he'd been texting her a lot over the week and it seemed he really thought she was cute.

We're dancing as a group (she brought two friends along) and all seems pretty well, my wing's doing some funny stuff but there's huge distance between him and his target - is this a big mistake for him?

I'm having a pretty great time despite the crap music (this is really important to me) and I tried to make friends with the people around me including the best (male at this stage) dancers. Turns out some girls notice - one comes up and grinds on me from behind. I don't really know how to respond to this, I let her do her thing for a while before I turned around and grabbed her arms and body a bit, didn't really work out, she ejected shortly after. I think I came off as unsure of myself, it's never happened before. What should I do next time?

As any good sedditor would, I kept having fun and another group of three girls started throwing smiles and bumping into me. I kinda was kinda wtf, wasn't sure if they were trying to get my attention? What should you do when girls bump you?

Also, when the group ditched and left me with one of the girls in the group it kind of felt awkward. It didn't help that she wasn't bringing much energy to the party....I grabbed her hands and nearly failed at spinning her and then just kept dancing with space between us...I didn't really want to escalate her but was unsure about what to do..any tips?

So back to my wing - it seemed he missed his moment and his girl has this massive hook up with some random guy on the dance floor. My buddy is devastated - hands on his face, shaking his head. He goes and sits down. One of the girlfriends has a talk to him and convinces him that 'his' girl really likes him. He gets on a brave face and just keeps dancing along. I tried to convince him to take her aside and finish the job himself (maybe not the best idea?) but he keeps (albeit frustratingly) waiting for 'the right moment'. After about 5 minutes, I tell him fuck it we're going. He really doesn't want to leave...keeps saying give me 5 minutes. I go and chat with the barman, tell him the story. Barman tells my wing - that she majorly disrespected him and that she should get f**ked. He finally leaves before some mushy 'I really liked you' kiss on the cheek exit. She apparently didn't want him to go (held onto his arm)

What the hell happened? How was I meant to handle the situation? What should he have done then and how should he respond later on when she calls/texts??

I'd love to hear some pointers!
