So I'm on my way, browsing the mall (dead on a Tuesday noon). I occasionally weave through Express and Urban Outfitters. To end my day I decided to down a sample at Teavana. The Sample Lady was about 24. I would put her on a 7, as I think she noticed my compliments, but I wasn't in my zone. I asked if one of the teas was just heated Kool Aid. She laughed at my joke. While in the shop I asked what was a good mothers day gift. She was pointing to all the tea steepers, talking about it in excruciating detail. I joked to her whether it's a slow day or she just likes tea. She says "A little bit of both."

We ended up talking a lot, to the point of getting her in trouble with her supervisor. She got embarrassed and I laughed it off. That's when the PUA in my brain was yelling "CLOSE IT MAN!" I told her that we should continue this later, asking for her number. I walked out thinking, "Did I just use my game and not know it?" It was funny because after a lot of approaches I realized that I was applying my pickup mentality in the real world and I like it. I'm making new friends everywhere, I feel better about myself, and I slowly see my canteen of value filling up. I feel awesome.

I guess the moral is keep your game face on. You never know when you'll need it.

tl,dr: Screwing around a dead mall, cute girl sees my confidence and starts to chat while at work. I get her in trouble because she was 'distracted.' Number closed and didn't even know it.
