So I was out the other night and I ended up at a club with some friends. While there I started flirting with a girl and dancing with her. However a bit later I was following her to her friends on the dancefloor and i saw 1 of them look at me then look at her and shake her head as to say 'not this guy'. I wasn't outrageously drunk, I was dressed nicely, and not a bad looking dude. So i'm just trying to figure out where i went wrong to have her friends shut me down. I made an effort to talk to them, to be friendly, but later when i was outside with them, I was asked if I was hitting on the friend, which seemed like my attempts to be friendly backfired. i'm not too hung up on the experience, however i'm curious to know if there is any aspects i could improve on to avoid getting denied by her friends like this.
