Ever since my semester started, I've basically gave up on social life and devoted myself to studying, thinking I'll manage it just fine, but as time goes on, I find it harder and harder to cope with lack of social interaction and it's affecting my workrate.

The problem is now when I'd like to get back into the game, friends seem reluctant to bring me with them for some reason and from where I'm standing the only chance I've got is to start approaching girls randomly. Now this wouldn't be a problem for most of the people, but the thing is, I'm 20 and I look 17-18 and I'm surrounded with women either my age or older than me, who generally aren't interested in me, as far as I'm able to notice.

If this persists, I'll continue to lose self esteem and drop down deeper, so I reckon it's better to do something about it sooner, rather than later.

Can anyone relate?
