I don't know if this has been posted before, but this is a game me and my buddies devised on our first night out tonight.

We play a game of rock-paper-scissors (or any other game that will result in a loser), and loser has a approach a girl chosen by the rest of the group, and use a pick-up line (can be as bad as everybody agrees to) on the girl, and just go with it from there.

I feel like it helps get over approach anxiety on multiple fronts. First of all, you're using a pick-up line, probably even a horribly embarrassing line. Therefore, any pretense of seriousness goes out the window. You're just doing it for fun, and that's really what matters in the end. Second, because you're only doing it for shits and giggles, it can only have a favorable outcome. You approach the girl, drop the line, and see where it goes from there. If she laughs, you go with it and initiate. She shoots you down, well, you're none for the worse, and you and your buddies get a good laugh before the next loser has to go out and do the same thing.
