Hey Seddit, as a long timer lurker and student of all the great info that you put out, I thought I'd try and share a report of what I experienced tonight as I was out for dinner with my family. The restaurant (high end Mexican American) was packed. My dad and I walked right up to the hostess counter. As my dad talked to the one hostess about how long a wait would be, I caught the eyes of the other drop dead beautiful hostess. It literally felt like we were staring at each other for 30 seconds. The Mayan's could have been right - it could have been the Apocalypse and I wouldn't have notice or cared. I don't remember who broke eye contact but I remember walking to the bar for drinks as we waited and looking back at her to see her looking back at me. From then on we caught each other's eyes anywhere between 5 or 10 times throughout my dinner. At sometimes I tried to focus my attention away from her and let her see me laughing and joking with my family. We can be a loud and festive group with drinks continuously flowing. Fast forward to us about to leave and I let my parents head out to the car where I then walk up to the hostess booth and go for it:

"Hey, I noticed you the second I walked in and had to introduce myself. I'm David."

"Hi (with a huge smile on her face) I'm Chloe."

"Hey Chloe. I know you're real busy, but I was hoping I could get your number and give you a call after work."

"Yea, definitely."

We step to the side of the counter and I give her my phone. She puts in her name and number and hands it back to me. I lightly touch her arm and tell her I'll call her later. That was around 7. It's now 10, we're making plans, and I'll update you on how the night goes. I just wanted to share in saying that if you are getting continuous signals, go for it! Typically the girl isn't going to make the first move - that's your job as a man! And the best part about all of this is that I feel so much better rather than thinking "what if" I never approached her. Thanks guys, I just wanted to say that your posts are great and work, and to put yourself out there when you see those signs!

UPDATE: I was only in that town for that night. Unfortunately our plans didn't end up working out. She was really enthusiastic about making plans for the week until I told her I was only around for a day. I really wish I had a great story for you Reddit! Thank you though! There will definitely be more to come.
