Girls shirk compliments from guys. I assume as an association for sinister means "I'm complimenting you to get in your pants" type of mentality.

However if another gal gives the exact same compliment to the girl that guy just complimented. It's a completely different reaction.

Him: girl your ass is fly in them jeans

Her: fuck off creep

Her: girl your ass is fly in them jeans

Her2: omg thank you, I got these at tjmaxx for 50% off and I was afraid they made my butt look too big

Not nearly enough context. Since you go on to ask about someone you've been seeing a while. Could be you've said it plenty of times she could be shy....who knows....if you've been seeing her a while guess who the best person to ask is......her!

Funny enough I actually get good responses to ass compliments pretty often. Two big things there though....we've encountered each other several times and I never directly mention her ass. " You really make those jeans look good"

Other factor is that I've made a habit of giving people genuine compliments at random just because it's nice. " I like your glasses they're really cute on you" as I'm heading out the door of somewhere I'll likely never go again.

" Wow that's a unique ring" to the old woman at the register.

" I like your shirt man that's cool"

Just whatever.....this eventually gives all your compliments a completely different feel.

Girls don’t want to get compliments, compliments show neediness.

Many girls will literally get disgusted by you if you are needy in giving a compliment.

Just don’t give compliments. Why would you give a compliment anyway? Oh I know. Because you want to get in her pants. She knows this. It’s so disingenuous and she can see right through it.
