Girls get drunk and do stupid shit at bars all the time. The way you filter out those girls from the serious ones is that you introduce yourself and ask them their name. That puts the pressure on them to have an adult interaction. Sometimes they will run away because now shit is too real. Sometimes they will reciprocate and now you're having an interaction. But don't buy her a drink.

Hitting on you and grinding on you? I would just go with it and put one hand around her waist and start grinding back with her. If afterwards she starts trying to weasel a drink out of me I'd leave if it gets too annoying.

i usually reciprocate, and the second she asks for a drink just completely turn away and shut off. not in an angry or butthurt way, just sort of like when you turn down a homeless person who asks for change.

edit: i shut her down immediately too. like not even a second of hesitation. i think that's important for preserving your state.

This might not be you, but cynicism can sometimes be a mask for a lack of self-belief. Each of us can selectively interpret the data we receive from the world in different ways depending on your belief system. Your interpretation was to think she just wanted you to buy her a drink, whereas my first thought would be that she was horny and needed to be fucked right away. Unless she says "buy me a drink", assume shes's not interested you getting her a drink.

In future, try choosing a more resourceful belief; one that serves you instead of one that doesn't.
