What do you guys do when you've been out once or twice with a girl and they lose interest? Either by not replying to texts or using delaying tactics ("im busy this week, let's try next week") without actually following up.

To illustrate, this has happened to me in two scenarios:

  1. Matched on tinder: Bit of texting, set up first day. It goes well. Set up date 2 a week later and it wasn't bad but also wasn't as good as the first (I didn't get physical enough and chemistry was good but not as good as first time.) I send a good night/get home safe text after this date to which she replies. But when I text to set up the next one, I get nothing back. Called her a few days later, no response. After a few more days text her "what's wrong?" and got a long text saying "sorry, v busy etc. i'll text you next week" - next week passes but nothing from her. I've already put lots of effort in so I move on.

  2. Another girl I meet at a house party and build some rapport with. I'm talking to another girl when this girl is leaving the party so I get her phone number. Text the next day (around 3-4 texts each) and we agree to meet up for drinks but don't decide when/where yet. Not that it matter, but she is the last to text me and I was busy so didn't reply. A few days later I sent her a photo in reference to a joke from the houseparty we met at (just a joke, not really asking for a reply). And a few days later I text her with a view to setting up a date a few days later. No reply.

I'm a little confused because on both occassions they seemed interested but suddenly go silent.

It seems needy to ask them where it went wrong, but without their feedback and understanding this, how can I work out what to improve?
