Going to bars alone

I am slowly becoming more comfortable going to bars alone. The thing I am finding is people kind of just stay in their circles. I can have a few good conversations with people but other times people dont really want to talk.

I like going out alone. I have been to a couple of shows and a couple of bars in the last few weeks solo, you really do end up meeting quite a few people.

I've been going out alone, too. Went to two shows where I met 8 girls and made up with one (and was super stupid to lose a huge opportunity with another one). Went to theater by myself and met 5 girls in the afternoon. Went to a convention/fair and met 3 in the day. In fact being by myself increases my drive to approach, because otherwise I stay alone and it's boring, and I also think it makes my approaches more bold, to hit on a group of 2-4 girls by myself and answer that I came alone when they ask.

If I'm going out with the sole intention to pick up girls I actually prefer being alone. First off you like you said you are forced to be social/talk to people, this helps me get into a better mental state for game more quickly. You also don't have any "dead weight", take a second and look around the bar and look at all the groups of dudes doing nothing but standing around, you have nothing to hold you back. Have fun, it'll definitely feel weird at first but once you get into a nice state where you've had a few conversations you'll be good.

I've been thinking of trying it myself too...kind of hard to walk in all alone and sit down by myself but I want to do it I know its all with the vibe you give out
