Had a great first date with a girl I met on Hinge. Making out in multiple places of the bar and had really fun banter. I walked her home and we had left things with saying we were excited to see each other again (I know, I know…probably just a formality).

Anyway, I texted her a couple days after with a funny callback to our date in hopes to spark up the momentum and get to Date 2 plans. But…she didn’t text me back until about 4x days later and while it was really energetic and not short, she didn’t give me much to work off of AND I have been out of town. So, I texted her again with a little playful teasing in hopes AGAIN that I’d work up so momentum and she hasn’t texted back yet now.

I know that IF she were highly interested, she’d find time to text back so I can deal with the fact that maybe things just fizzled quickly but I still want to shoot the shot for Date 2 and try to build up value. After all, I have revived dead numbers to dates and then sex before so perhaps I can do it again haha I def have a little oneitis going on here though so could use advice.

Should my next text just be an update about something cool I’m doing that reminded me of her? Keep it short and a pic or something?

Lastly, what IS a little strange is that her phone has been showing silenced notifications since a few days after Date 1 and I suspect it’s linked to what she told me right when we were making plans for Date 1 which was “how much she wasn’t looking forward to May because of how busy it is for her”. So, when we were making plans, she even gave me the only 3x dates in May that could work. That said, my mindset with these things is always just that even if she’s busy, she wouldn’t risk losing a guy of interest and text back quickly(ish).
