I usually say "sure am! My friends are all married and what not now so I decide to just come out on my own :)"

I may drop the friends stuff and just say "Sure am!" and let them guess why or take it from there. Never had a problem though, most girls assume i have really high confidence from coming out alone.

I would be honest. I used to think I wanted to go out with "friends", but then I realized the people I was going out with were just people who liked to drink, mostly.

Yeah say fuck yeah I'm alone, I'm pimpin! Seriously you don't need to apologize for being out alone or feel weird about it. Think of it as a shit test and respond accordingly. You can just come back with: "yeah I'm actually a vampire so the night is my only time to socialize and meet new people." If she likes that, go on a vampire rant, if she doesn't, say you're joking and change the subject. Too easy.
