Guys do this too, was in a toxic relationship when I broke up with him he told everyone I was abusive even tho he hit me, screamed at me, wouldn’t let me leave his house at some points, and threw shit at me. Ik I wasn’t perfect but I know if anyone was abusive it was him. They are most likely projecting
