Yeah. There’s a guy who works with my girlfriend who has been persistent. She’s told him many times that she has a boyfriend and he keeps asking her out and she’ll tell me about it. She’s close to reporting it. Too many guys don’t know when to give up or how to pursue options that are actively available and interested in them. Then you end up like that creepy guy.

Got voted down nasty by a lot of people for saying this before, but I'll say it again because it is true, and getting voted down won't change the fact that it is either.

A man has, on average, a month to get a woman into bed.

A sexually active woman ovulates once a month, during which time her body is literally screaming at her to go and get laid before her egg dies. Either womwn act on these hormones sexually with someone, or they deliberately choose not to with anyone. If that man is not you, then it's going to be some other guy - or nobody if she's sexually immature, or has some other hangup about sex - or one of any number of reasons.

So you have a month to make it happen, or it's just not happening.

The longer a woman makes you wait for sex - the less likely you are to ever have it - and even if by some miracle you DO get it, the quality of the sex itself is never worth the actual wait.

You want a woman to want to rip your clothes off, not be "up in the air" about wanting you.

I have the opposite problem, I let them go at the sight of the slightest resistance.

I've actually annoyed quite a few girls because of that, "wow, you're actually just going to give up?" Heard that line way too many times. The funny thing is, that's the only aspect of my life that i easily quit. If I see competition, which is usually the case, I literally tell them to be happy with the other guy. Oftentimes they do end up together which validates my choice.

I agree cause if a girl is interested in somebody else then clearly she doesn’t care about the value I have to offer. Which in turn means she doesn’t care about me as a person. I’m not trying to be with a shallow bitch.

Persistence in dating does work if its directed inwardly as fuel to continuous improvement. Women want to chase the prize (not catch it) and even if she is worth the exclusivity and you hand it over, its expected that to maintain her attraction levels you too must persist in whatever your endeavours are when you met her.

Persistence works in dating but only when witnessed.

I don’t think the lesson from your story is that persistence is a bad idea. You should persist at times and you should let go at times. I currently am fwb with a woman I persisted with. It’s a normal part of courting women.
