When you have options as a conventionally attractive man it has you feeling like what women probably feel. Like I’m no Chad or anything, but I’m a decently attractive tall and thin man. And for a long time my looks weren’t an issue it’s that I was socially awkward around women. So as a result growing up I had women that had crushes on me etc but most ran in the other direction when they realized how awkward I was and couldn’t hold a convo without getting nervous. As I got older I learned how to hold conversations and took jobs like sales, driving for uber, working in restaurants etc. So I was forced to talk to people all day. Eventually my social skills improved not only overall but especially with women. Now I have no issue with talking to most women. (Ofc I still get approach anxiety once in a while I’m sure every man still does) I’ve gone on probably over a 100 dates at this point and am enjoying playing the field and being single at the moment. So as a result of all this I’m way pickier about what I will and won’t tolerate. But what’s also funny is that having options now has also made me reconsider if the juice is even worth the squeeze. Like for example if I’m talking a woman I met on a dating app and she lives 2 hours away and wants me to come over. A man that’s starving or even one that’s horny enough would drive the 2 hours without even thinking about it. Even if the sex isn’t guaranteed. But when you have options and about 10 other women you could easily get sex from at any given time? You start asking yourself “this 2 hour drive isn’t worth all that.” Like this exact scenario is actually happening right now. A girl I met off a dating app invited me to her place to drink some wine smoke a joint and fuck. And I’m seriously sitting here contemplating if that sounds better than chilling in my room getting high and going to bed early 🤣
