This post is primarily directed towards guys - particularly newbies - who can't decide which style of game suits them the most. They dabble in game theory for months or years before deciding which works best for them.
Furthermore, lots of dudes I meet espouse one particular style of game as "the best", but honestly, I believe it varies from person to person. For example, Person A might resonate with a natural, "be the best version of yourself" sort of game, but not so much with "red-pill" game. Meanwhile, Person B might love a micro, surgical approach to game - but can't resonate with natural game.
Therefore, I've created a list as a "catch all" of game styles I've discovered as a pickup-artist.
Natural Game: These guys tend to eschew the more technique-based game styles of structured and canned game. They tend to have a positive outlook in life and are committed to making themselves the best possible version of themselves. While some techniques might be used, all of them focus on correcting your "inner game" (ie. mindset, your belief system, etc) to become a well-rounded, confident, and sexy individual both men and women love.
Examples include: The Natural Lifestyles, Mark Manson, Coach Corey Wayne and Sasha Daygame
Red-Pill Game: In my experience, red-pill game is the most effective of the bunch (for short-term results), but tends to be the most emotionally and mentally damaging. Kind of like the Dark Side of the Force from Star Wars.
The guys who follow a red-pill style of game tend to aggressively pursue women as "targets" and objects to be conquered. They base their game techniques off of a woman's evolutionary biology to trigger her attraction/arousal level; it is often seen as being extremely playerish, disingenuous, harsh and biting.
While they're incredibly successful at one-night stands, keeping and holding relationships poses an issue for many of them.
Examples include: Roosh V, Donovan Sharpe, Nick Krauser, Pook and Rollo Tomassi (not technically a PUA, but considered the father of the red pill)
Flash Game: The premise behind 'Flash Game' is to increase one's social value by garnering attention at a public venue so other people can see. The techniques utilized by flash gamers is defined by a "I don't give a fuck" attitude and considered highly entertaining by all. These guys love nightclubs, but operate within the day as well.
They're high-energy, extroverted, fun, playful, and people (both men and women) eat from the palm of their hands if executed correctly.
Examples include: Julien Blanc, Austen Summers, Tay Social and Max Berger (aka RSD Max; mix of natural/flash)
Structured Game: My personal favorite and preferred style of game. These guys view game in an objective, scientific sense. "Do what works," is their mantra. If you had to envision someone who practices structured game, imagine a scientist building a blueprint of a Man-to-Woman interaction and using it to navigate from A (the approach) to Z (sex).
While techniques are used, most of their game style revolves around models that lead you down a specific path based on your overall objective. This can include one-night-stands, getting a girlfriend, etc.
Examples include: Todd V, Gabriel Grey, and Chase Amante (mix of natural/structured)
Canned Game: A mostly obsolete style of game, but still has it's uses in the field. This style of game was popularized in the non-fiction book The Game by Neil Strauss. These guys tended to rely heavily on routines and pre-planning every scenario with a woman before they ever occurred. This can range from establishing comfort, the opening, and escalation. However, it's primary flaw was the unpredictability of human interaction.
While it's rare - if at all - to see a guy who exclusively practices canned game in the field, their techniques and theories popularized pickup artistry as a whole.
Examples include: Mystery, Styles, Herbal and 2000s Tyler Durden (Owen Cook)
Do you have any more styles to add to the list? Any thoughts/comments are appreciated, too.
