Honestly, move on and find a diff gf or dates - it sounds like it may be a cultural issue and those are hard to break.

If it isn't cultural, she may come around eventually, but in the meantime don't make yourself miserable pining over her.

You get out of the friendzone by moving on from her, and you stay out of the friendzone by not becoming friends with women. If a chick catches your eye, ask her out. If she says yes then you’re good. If she says no or maybe, then move on.

Dude, this isn’t her giving you hope, this is her trying to turn you down as politely as possible, it always is.

Dude, she is not holding you hostage in a friendzone it’s you who are holding yourself hostage voluntarily because you refuse to accept that she isn’t interested in you like that.

You are the one who just has to walk away and focus your attention on other girls, you need to flirt with other girls and get in relationships with other girls, not wait there for something that will never happen.

Also dude, if you don’t want to get friendzoned by girls you should not become close friends with them.

Just be her friend take it from me iam 42 and got friendzoned with my best lady friends for over 10-20 years now. We are best friends and yes you will always want more from them and they know how i feel it hurts but beeing just friends some times meens more than loosing a friendzone. After 4 years and she just want to be friends believe me you got a friend for life there.

Ik it’s hard but the only answer here is to see and interact with her less for a while, and be honest about the fact that you need that space. Pursue your own hobbies/passions/goals, talk to other women, and try not to even think about her. Remain friendly if you do see her, but always opt to keep it brief and don’t fall into old patterns with her you may have had from that 6 months. If you do interact with her, try to always have interesting things to say about what you’ve been doing lately.

The trick is you have to be doing these things for you and not for the hope of her liking you. Girls can usually tell the difference.
