Hello, I’m a 25-year-old man who doesn’t understand what he’s doing wrong. I’ve always had low self-confidence and was a bit overweight. About a year ago, I started working out — gym and running — and I also began taking dance classes. I built a really nice physique and learned to dance well. I no longer have a problem asking women to dance.

I’ve also been on five dates, but except for one one-night stand (and we were both drunk), nothing has worked out. Something is still holding me back and I don’t know what.

When I invite a woman to dance at a party or a club, I don’t know what to talk about, and pretty quickly I end up asking her if she wants a drink. Then they all turn me down. Even on dates, everything seems great, we talk about lots of topics, but I never get to the second date…

Should I be going on more dates? Should I be asking more girls out?
