At this point I know that warming up is an inextricable part of my pickup process. If I approach one girl, then chill with friends or walk around looking for hot girls, before finally approaching another 5-30 minutes later it's going to be a bad night. If I hit up 3-4 girls in quick succession I'm on fire like clockwork.

One problem I continuously run into: I'm with a girl who I'm not attracted to, but have been flirting with for a few minutes, and either I don't want to escalate further or I'm bored with her or I see a hotter girl I want to talk to. Watching her deflate as I leave isn't fun, I don't like having that affect on people. Am I missing something that makes this insignificant, are there better ways to leave on a friendly note?
