A frame is how people view you or how you view a situation:

Your frame in a date: You want to make her your girlfriend;

Her frame in the same date: She thinks you are only her friend;

You have to make sure she is aware of your romantic or sexual intentions with the date.

Or:

Someone call you an asshole.

You can ignore it and do whatever you gonna do (staying in your frame);
You start a fight (entered his frame);
You keep ruminating about what happened (entered his frame);

It is being in control of the situation.

In certain situations a reframe could mean, rephrasing something that's confusing.

Framing is a general term to take control of situation before you loose it and it’s opportunities.

If you’re asking how to frame in a discussion with a date, then the person leads the conversation and does not leave the other party in silence or moments of hesitation to decide. You help her out and further the topic or situation.
