I'm still in undergrad, but I very recently transferred from UCSB to Michigan to pursue an education and career in dentistry. I know hardly anybody but I am taking this whole change of scenery as a fun opportunity to reinvent myself. I regularly flirt with girls at work, which I recommend you try as well, and have gone out on a few dates with classmates (none of which went anywhere, but I'm new to the game and new to the area so there's always room to improve).

So my situation isn't quite identical to yours but you just gotta find the time to put yourself out there in social situations, maybe expand your friend circle at work.

I've been exactly where you are right now. Moved to a new city, knew exactly two people and I constantly felt afraid. Sometimes despite breathing normally I'd feel out of breath.

So I decided I'd had enough. I would not spend lonely nights in my home, I decided to go out and just walk. I'd ask people for directions even though I didn't need them, then I discovered cold approaching. I used that to create a small social circle. After that it all changed. I didn't feel alone anymore.

The city I was in was pretty fucking huge however, so Idk in your case.
