Obviously, it's impossible to tell for sure what's wrong. It's probably a combination of many factors. Here are some common reasons why they don't respond to your text messages.

Your pick up feels to much like a pickup. It's not smooth. It's awkward and clunky. It doesn't feel like you spontaneously wanted to talk to her. Instead it feels to them like you're doing a "pick up" like a pick up artist hitting on women. And they can tell.
You come across as too needy / eager to get to know her. For example, you ask her for personal info too quickly. Or you begin making up some bullshit just to continue the conversation. For example, if she says she's from another country, you might make up some bullshit like "oh the people from your country are really into singing karaoke right?" even though you don't know anything about her country. This kind of attempt at forcing a conversation with bullshit will come across as weird and annoying. She will know you're trying to force the conversation.
You don't come across as attractive. This could be looks, the clothes, the hair, the skin, your voice, the rhythm of your speech, your posture etc.
They're just not interested. Not every woman you approach will be interested. On tinder, for example, women only swipe right on about 5% of men. And those women are more likely to be single. Let's say in the real world only 50% of the women are single, but that your chances are 3 times higher she will be interested compared to on tinder.

So that means:

chances she likes you is 15%
chances she's single is 50%

So in total your chance is about 7.5% that any woman you hit on is interested.

Just because they give you their number doesn't mean they're interested. Sometimes they just give you a fake number to make you go away faster.

The first message you text them could also be less than ideal. I don't know how you set up the number close and what you text them.

Another thing you can do to drastically increase your success rate is to approach less, but approach women who seem interested. Looking for signals of interest prior to approaching. Obviously that doesn't happen very often. But if you limit your approaches to those cases I've personally experienced about a 50% success rate. Which is insane but it also means I very rarely approach. So it's probably not the best if you want success fast. I rely mostly on dating apps and will approach sparingly based on signs of interest. So that's how I make that work for me

What is your step three? Don't try to number close every girl. Just the ones who contributed to the conversation and gave continuous eye contact.

What you are doing wrong is going for contact details from the get go.

You approach daygame interactions with one goal in mind, getting a number or an instagram or whatever contact details from her before you even talk to her.

That means you are not actually a challenge at all for the woman, you are already sold on her before the conversation even begins… Seduction requires you to make her work for it, not by directly telling her shit like “prove to me that you deserve my number” because that would be cringe, but by simply getting her to qualify herself.

She had to tell you things that show she isn’t just a pretty girl that she is also smart, funny, ambitious, thoughtful, confident, adventurous, or whatever qualities she demonstrates.

That is something that you need to take notes of in your mind as if you are evaluating whether she actually deserves to see you again or not. In other words you are not sold on her yet just because she is pretty, but instead the conversation is just your way to evaluate whether you want to see her again or not. It’s like a subtle exam for her.

Then once she has demonstrated qualities, and you have decided that this woman is fun to spend time with, only then you may reach the conclusion that you want to see her again, that’s when you tell her that you want to see her again and give her the reasons why, which is that you like that she is intelligent, adventurous, or any of the qualities she has demonstrated…

That makes her see that your interest in her is genuine, that you don't do this with other girls, or that you are jot just trying to collect numbers from amy girl you cross paths with. It makes her feel like she is somewhat special, that she isn't just another "number" in your list.

If she feels like you do this with every girl, then they will ghost you or flake. The only way to beat that objection is to not focus on the number and instead focus on getting her to qualify herself and then decide if she earned a date with you.

You need to be a bit more specific for better advice. How many numbers have you gotten in total? If it's less than 10 then this is normal, only about 1 in 4 or 5 numbers that you get will usually lead to a date so you may not have a big enough sample size yet to draw conclusions.

If you're got dozens of numbers and none of them led to a date then something is wrong. One of the other comments listed some of the things you could be doing wrong.

There are things you can do to improve your close rate though. One of them is instead of asking for her number try to arrange a date there and then. So suggest something specific to do, like go for a drink at a particular bar, and ask her what days are best for her etc. if you get her to commit to something specific there is less chance of her flaking. If she won't commit there then there's a bigger chance she's just not interested.
