Lower your expectation. Much much lower. When you’re young and inexperienced, there will be lots of mishaps and hiccups. And that’s okay. Totally normal. All those are what makes it ~~perfect~~ memorable.

What would you do? Give him an opportunity to take charge. If he stumbles, help him up, give him cues on what you love. If he doesn’t escalate, step up and slightly touch him so he’ll know that touching you is okay and he can be comfortable on physically escalating on you.

Hi, my suggestion would be to slow it way down and get the information from him first, on how to rock his world. You maybe best friends, but there’s a part of him you don’t yet know. Even if you get on really well as friends, you may or may not be sexually compatible. What if he’s into spanking women’s butts hard and you don’t like to be hit? Or he likes to be the submissive and wants you to dominate him all the time? Or he doesn’t like giving women oral sex? And you want that? It’s about checking this works for you and him before you both get in too deep.

Engage his brain first, talking about sex and intimacy with him. It’s great foreplay and gets you the information you need and gives him the information he needs too. Be strict about keeping it verbal at first, until you’re both ready, even if it’s punctuated by kisses. You need this info first, it’s key to you both having a great time.
