How do I continue after getting phone number and a text message?

If you did good on the initial interaction, what you do doesn't really matter. Just text her and ask her out. Its that simple Generally i like to make plans right there when i'm hanging out with her. If she doesn't agree to see you when you meet her, calling or texting her isn't going to make any difference because she's not going to message you back.

Text 1: Make her laugh. Use something that helps her remember you - a funny inside joke, something silly that happened, tease her on an interesting/weird hobby or something. Text 2: Continue banter if needed, but arrange a meet up. Easy as that.
