Go where the type of guys youre interested in congregate. Gym if you want a gym rat, upscale bar if you want upscale guys, etc. Just smile and show a little bit of interest if you see a guy you like. A good guy will pick up on that and make a move.
Dump your imaginary bf 😝

I agree, if she just approaches guys she is remotely attracted to, or willing to give a shot to, you will probably be successful the majority of the time.

Career oriented girls can be a bit intimidating for guys, so having a non-serious body language during work is one thing and don’t put head phones in public transit. Nobody’s gonna approach you let alone guys and you wanted the old school approach so head phones or sun glasses ain’t helping your case :)

I can see it being difficult today if you don't want the hookup culture. I'll suggest more intellectual things like a coding bootcamp, meetups, etc. You can find excuses there to talk to men. Good Luck.

Do you have a meetup.com site?
You don't have to code, there are some very intro ones that will put you in contact with decent guys. The less you can do the more help you can ask. Even if you arent that interested in coding guys will be interested in you if you even fake wanting to learn.
Just like guys go to yoga classes :0.

DM me...
...but seriously, you have to put yourself out there. Not necessarily looking for a bf, but simply meeting people.

These are old school books, but good. Especially if you're a traditional gal. They are not as cheesy as they sound! They were written by a woman (Leil Lowndes) with advice tailored to both men and women.

If you wait for guys to come and hit on you, it’s going to take forever for the guy you want and there’s a good chance he’s just a player type dude looking for something quick. I just know lots of the guys that approach are not looking for anything serious.
If you’re as driven as you say then nothing is stopping you from approaching the guys you want and going from there. At the very least you’ll have control over the interaction and can setup if you want it to go in a fwb or serious direction.

You're on social media? Post good pictures and you'll be bombarded with guys. Dress nice and guys will approach you

Follow guys you like and like some of their posts. They'll text you most probably
