Well I think that if you see her a lot IRL you have to take the courage and go up to her, maybe start with "Hi I'm (your name), i think you're really cute and i had to come and talk to you, what's your name?". I think that if she's interested in you she will keep the conversation going.

Just find a common interest if you don’t want to be totally direct, even though the latter would maybe be even more appropriate.

Go to her, talk to her, because it’s a win-win situation. If she responds positively, great, you can ask her out on a date, if not, great, you know it won’t go anywhere and you can move on.
