I'm 28, got out my first relationship (6 months) about 2 months ago. Have been with a couple of women since then. Was seeing a really attractive south american chick who has gone back to SA (3 weeks ago) for 4 months but we will be back to study and wants us to hook back up.

But I've found myself chasing other women not a week after she went. I'm on POF, OkCupid, Tinder, Badoo.. sometimes talking for 5 or 6 different women, bantering, setting up dates, being flaked, etc. checking my phone all the time for replies.. I'm not comfortable with this behaviour now.

When I have loads of responsive women I'm talking to I feel great. When I go through a dry period of a downswing or just get unlucky for a while I start to feel unattractive and desperate.

At the same time, I've started an improv course, I started doing salsa again, I'm going to start doing kickboxing soon and go to toastmasters. I've been seeing a therapist for the last 6 months. I have a great career and a nice place, family around me (could do with more friends/socialising more).

I feel like I'm making progress in my life, but yet still seeking something from the women in my life. Maybe some kind of validation? I've been too forward recently with these women online and have lost quite a few dates by being too impatient.

There was a chinese girl I had in my bed last year that I failed to have sex with due to inexperience, and I've had a bit of yellow fever since. That's caused me to blow it with every asian girl since :/

I'm just excited about finally having success with women but I'm trying my best to stay grounded. Any thoughts?
