How do people find their girlfriends?

I'm a 19 year old guy too. I'm still in school, but nonetheless I think I can offer some advice.

I struggle with the same issue, and so I took steps to work on it. I have found that the places that I actually made conversation were places that I went as a result of my own hobbies and interests. I know your work week doesn't leave you a whole lot of time, but do things just because they sound fun to YOU. You will meet like minded individuals (sometimes of the opposite sex) in these places! And if they're guys, it's a great way to make friends!

For example, I really enjoy running and general cardio workouts and made some great conversation with a girl in the gym the other day. Maybe also check out things like local art or music festivals however small they may be, any kind of event really. I live in a small town and we have neat little activities like that if you search for them.

I hope this was at least somewhat helpful! I'm working to try to make the same thing happen, and am making progress I like to think.

Expand your social circle. 2 of my past girlfriends i met through friends, or friends of friends. House parties are great as someone will know that pretty girl standing over there and can introduce you. Its a super powerful get outta jail free card when you can be social proofed and intro'd to a girl. They are generally a lot more forgiving than if you were a total stranger and you spend less time trying to justify approaching and actually getting to know if you have things in common and if you could stand to be around her for long periods of time(!)

Other than that, you are just 19 dude!! By all means living costs are not cheap and it is great you have found yourself gainful employment but pleaae please save that cash up and TRAVEL. At your age it is by far the moat rewarding and interesting experience you can have. European women, asian women, latino women, women from that baleric island you stumbled upon that time... The world is a rich hunting ground my friend and the stories you will be able to tell at those future parties will have women hanging on your every word in no time.

Have found probably 4/5 of my last girlfriends through online dating.

Otherwise, the ones I met in real life is from being out drinking with friends and one through a running group I'm in.

I used to struggle with that myself. I'm 19 and I've never dated before, even though I've wanted to. There were many girls that I was into back in my school days but none of them reciprocated my feelings. From the day I graduated high school to the last day of my freshman year in college I struggled a lot with this whole 'finding a girlfriend' thing. That was until my buddy got me into pick-up.

I never really knew what was out there until I went to look and let me tell you- there are so many women out there that are ready to just meet cool guys like you and me. Personally it was literally mind-blowing. Here I am thinking that getting a girlfriend was next to impossible but it's really just about being comfortable with who you are and being confident in yourself.

You and I, even though we are the same age, have completely different lifestyles- I'm a college student taking summer vacation while you work full time. I have more free-time, while you don't. But that does not mean you do not have the time to find any women. There are many ways to go about finding girls to date- tinder, parties, clubbing, etc but since you work full time, I would suggest tinder and daygame.

Tinder is straight forward but daygame is a bit more involved. If you have a day off work and if there are any big shopping malls or areas where young people hang out, go there and try to find girls that you find approachable.Approach them, tell them why you are approaching them and try to start a conversation and see how it goes. If it goes well, get her number and set up a date for you two to meet again.

These are just two videos but I feel that they are very relevant to you. Watch these videos and if you have time, watch all his videos and pay attention to what this man does and how he does it. If you hear what he has to say, you will have a girlfriend very soon.

Easy. Some people find theirs through where they work. Ever wonder why chefs and construction workers always seem so thirsty? Because their work environment places them around mostly men for pretty much the whole day. Especially in American culture where work is life, it can be difficult to meet women. Bars and clubs are NOT where you want to get a girlfriend. Get a part time job that surrounds you with women, sign up for classes at a community college, go to one of those Paint and Drink places. Put yourself where the women are (and ideally where you'd get to know one another in more than one session of time) and you have your pick of the litter. Just don't be the creepy one hitting on everyone. Act like you're there to strictly make friends, isolate a few of them by suggesting to hang out outside of where you met and escalate.

I'm 19 and still in school, but my advice would be to get socializing with as many people as possible. A lot of your life seems to be centered around work which isn't a bad thing, but reading your questions makes me feel like you aren't happy with the amount of time you spend on socializing. Try to make time to meet people by going out to the bars with friends, maybe taking a trip to an amusement park or beach. Find a hobby like working out, playing sports, or anything that you can set aside time for to make it out of the routine of being around the same people. Another option is online dating or tinder, but I don't know enough about it to make any recommendations. Overall I would say if you want to meet girls get out to socialize doing the things you want to do. Live the life you are happy with and the rest will sort itself out. Good luck!

Being in school, wether high school, or college, is the easiest way to talk to women. You meet them in class, see them on campus, at the food courts, etc.. it's once you get out into the real world that it becomes difficult.

You go out and do things you enjoy doing. Just yesterday I got a girl's number at a park while I was out disc golfing. I had a terrible throw that ended up on the running path near her, she was in the middle of her run, and stopped to talk to me and I got her number.

I've been in your shoes. From my community college days, until age 25ish, I just assumed the only way to meet women was through your social circle. I was introverted, so this sucked. I was rarely in contact with new people. This is mainly why I would get into relationships that would last 3+ years, even if they weren't going well at all. When they did end, I'd beg for the other person to take me back.

Basically, scarcity mentality. If I lost X girl, I knew it would be months or years before even coming across another, then it would be up to chance to get them to like me. Then I found the seduction community...

You do need to make an effort to go out. Even if it's not bars and clubs, daygame is good. Parks, malls, whatever. Even solo. I used to think it was weird, but now it's second nature. It's still a numbers game too, but I'd rather be approach 1-2 girls a day, resulting in maybe 500 total in a year. That's 500 possible people a YEAR. Obviously many of those are going nowhere, no number, maybe even barely conversation. Others results in dates.

Let's even assume of those 500 you approach, 10% went out with you on a day two. That's 50 'first dates' a year. Of those first dates.... meh, half want to see you again. 25 left... of those 25, half turn into something... either FWBs, girlfriends, or even just good female friends. That's a lot more women a year than the average dude out there.
