I'm not new to this stuff, and I know that the general consensus is that you stop responding on a high note.

But sometimes I feel like that's a poor way to end the convo. Is that what you guys are doing? Even with a girl that you have a medium+ amount of comfort with?

Basically, it feels weird to just stop responding when a girl is responding with a lot of laughs (i.e. a high point). It almost seems like I'm punishing good behavior in a way -- though I do understand it reduces the impression of neediness.
