Hey all,

I was wondering what you guys do to prepare for a day full of approaching?

For me, most of my prep begins the night before. I usually plan out where I'm going to be approaching and think of a small goal for that day; usually it's: "Direct cold approach some girls and leave them smiling at the end of the interaction". I like this goal because it's very fun and low pressure. I also watch some RSD videos, read some articles, and try to focus on areas that I need to improve. Then I try to go to bed early and get as much sleep as possible, I personally need 8-9 hours to be fully rested. I take my time getting ready and eat a hearty breakfast. On the way to campus I think about a lot of concepts I've heard from RSDTyler, specifically the advice he gives on the benefits of gaining massive field experience. Here are a couple of my favorite videos:

Now, because I'm a natural introvert ..I need a big energy boost to begin approaching. I usually grab an energy drink and sip on it while I'm in field ..I know it's not the best but hopefully I won't need it after I gain some experience. I also do some warm up sets in which I basically use an indirect opener, I don't bother going for a close on these unless I feel really confident. After a few warm up sets, I'm usually fully "In-state" and ready for the real deal.

And there you have it, that's my current prep for a day of approaching. Please let me know what you think and feel free to share your routine. Thanks.
