How do you know what to listen to?

Yeah, I noticed that too. Some things are contradictionary. For me I just decided to do what ever feels right and not get too caught up in things you heard in a video. Learning too much theory can be bad sometimes, just keep that in mind.

TL;DR: First of all you need some common sense, making practice, then you might want to improve through some reading of that stuff.

You might be going to disagree with some book/author for whatever reason. If you think that acting selfish or narcissistic is wrong (I personally think it is), then ignore that author, it means it’s not the right one for you.

That’s why you need your own common sense.

You also need practice, because it is much more important than theory, or at least it’s necessary to try what you learn in theory on the field. This also helps to better understand your style, which might not fit what you’re learning on books.

Last but not least, don’t take whatever advice from the first average joe you see on bookstores or blogs.

If you’re looking for a good book, try Models by Mark Manson, IMHO it’s one of the best and most healthy resources out there.

Set out what values you want in a girl, for example compassion, honesty, well traveled, spiritually inclined etc. Work toward those same values as a person. Simultaneously talk to girls at the same time and try to attract what you put out. Find the common ground and start from there. This is is you want a partner for life.

If you want hook ups then it is different. Regardless of technique use, I would say do everything with grace.

I personally don’t listen to any dating coach since 99% of them are scams. Any guy that genuinely hangs out with men that get laid will know that most of the stuff dating coaches say is bullshit.

So first realize that there is not 1 true way of doing seduction right. Just like working out there is no "correct" way to work out as everyone is different and and is in it for different goals. Some want to work out for a sport, some want to work out to look better some want to work out to just be healthy. There are only certain fundamental's that make everyone better but everything can be broken if done correctly.

Same is true with game. Every coach is tackling a different level of seduction whether it be the initial courting phase or the .relationship phase, etc. They all offer their own unique take on these issues (and to be real a lot are snake oil salesman) and their own "unique" program. So its really down to if you think you want to become a carbon copy of that seducer with all their faults and eccentrities.

The way I determine if I like someone is I try out their material for a while to REALLY get a sense at its strengths and weaknesses. Once then I see how my behavior is, I like it and whether I am getting any results. If I am yes to both then I will keep the program. If not then I will do a lot of soul searching to see if the results I am getting are worth the program or if I like myself enough but are confortable not getting the results I wanted. If its no to both then Its out.

Listen to the coach and apply what he says and see if it works. If it works then you know he is legit, if it doesn’t work then he’s not legit. It’s as simple as that.
