Ever heard of the marine saying "you will walk ten feet tall and won't take shit from no one."? Well walk like that. Stand upright and look straight ahead while still giving a wink to any cute girls who lock eyes with you. You will definitely get a lot of double takes and be the talk with the girls. And when speaking with them, don't over think what you are going to say. Just say it and go from there cause then you are showing confidence in yourself and they will know to.

Well, it's not always about being the funniest/smartest/boldest. People tend to be either long-lasting or trendy fuckers.

Being comfortable in front of crowds is a life-long skill. There's Toastmasters (http://www.toastmasters.org/), which is an international public-speaking club.

One main thing I would say is start being comfortable with recording yourself speaking, and give yourself honest criticism. If you have a camcorder, try filming yourself reading or singing a song or poem over and over again until you start to perceive your own voice as an instrument.

Whatever you do, please put your drink down. Don't hold it in front of your chest like every other chode in the room. Put it on the bar/table or hold it to your side.
