I was reading one of roosh's articles and it all sounded good until I saw a picture of him. He's way above average on the attractiveness meter. That makes me hesitant to assume what works best for him will also work best for me.

Now I'm trying to man the fuck up as best I can, so I won't list the things I can change that are holding me back because I fully intend to change them, but what about the things that cannot be changed?

  • I am going bald (not even 25 yet, and I don't have the head shape to pull off the shaved head look)
  • I have a nasally voice
  • I am short
  • I'm pretty damn ugly

I realize that the insecurity caused by these issues are most likely my biggest problem, and I'm working on that. Unfortunately those traits put me in a lower position when approaching a woman for the first time. The things I do will get me labeled as creepy or desperate or just plain unwelcome because of my appearance. It can be overcome, I will just have a lower success rate then average and I will have to work harder to get that success rate.

So my main question: What things can I do differently in order to minimize the negative effects caused by my disadvantages? How does the game change for guys who are below average or have an obviously apparent trait that would put women off?
