Here in this subreddit I see a lot of topics about push/pull and I agree with that, but does push/pull only apply to pick up more so than real relationships? I've never been in a relationship personally, but when I read here I'm confused now about how people can actually keep their girlfriends interested. Let's say you hit it off with her on the first, second, third, whatever date and you bring her to your place, you guys have some fun and after a few months of enjoying each others and you being able to be yourself around her, you ask her to be your girlfriend, she says yes. Now, you're dating, but how do you keep her always into you? I didn't understand this part. The reason I'm curious is because my friend and his girlfriend, it seems like he's always doing the push/pull to her. He denies cuddling her sometimes, they argue about the most minuscule shit, he rarely holds her hand unless she fights for it, she's always chasing for his attention. Is he doing the right thing because honestly when I had girls close to me I just wanted to be close to them as well. Loved to cuddle, hold hands etc. so why does he deny it from her? I'm just confused about how relationships work I guess.
