Make them clear as day. I wouldn't say be outward forcefully with them, but don't hide them whatsoever.

You should go to not what you feel comfortable with, but what the girl feels comfortable with. Simply put; keep pushing your intentions until she subtly tells you to slow down or gets uncomfortable.

Keep pushing as to not scare her; make her feel comfortable.

For example:

You said hi to her (She didn't run away)

You ask for her phone number (gives in and gives)

You walk her to a table in the corner (she follows)

You walk her outside where it is less noisy (Continues to follow)

You talk about taking her back to your place (that's where she mentions that she cant go because she came with her friend)

^{^{^}} That is where you stop and you work from there, you keep pushing your intentions nice and easy, until she flat out rejects you or you fuck her.

Maybe that is an extreme example but let's say she is cool with you touching her shoulder when, going for the hug, touching her hand across the table, but is not cool and she moves away when you go in for the kiss. Doesn't mean she rejected you, but you just have to keep working and do a better job of making her feel comfortable.

TL;DR Keep pushing your intentions until she feels discomfort. Take baby steps, don't rush from a greetings straight into a groping in one move. Make the standard moves and work your way up to make her feel comfortable.
